Past, present and future

Being home and breathing in this wondrously clean forest air makes me think about my life. I am so incredibly blessed. I don't mean that in a holier-than-thou, coolest-house-on-the-block way, I mean that in an everyone-is-given-something-spectacular way. No matter how I manage to stumble and fall, I always land in something even better than before. Coincidence? Luck? I don't think so. The only way to explain Mattie (he hates when I call him that), Wyatt, Alexis, our home and our experiences is that the good Lord is clearly smiling down on this bumbling fool. Like I warned in my first post (post? Blog? Entry?), I am one of those weirdly optimistic people so don't be surprised if I joke about sad things or brush off things that are a big deal. Oh also, my mother is a trauma nurse and my father was a cop and worked in a burn clinic- so my idea of common or dinner-table conversation is slightly skewed. You've been warned.
Past- my past is filled with amazing memories; I grew up with a huge, loving family, in a tiny town that I couldn't wait to leave when I graduated high school! But that tiny, backwards town taught me more than I could imagine and my family let me loose with a sense of determination and morals that have guided me through the twists and turns of life. I've done some pretty dumb things in my past, but I still managed to get through it.
Present- I am so in love. One thing anyone and everyone reading this needs to know: I have the most amazing man in my life, and the cutest babies in the whole wide world. Everything I do is for them. And because they like to eat; I am also gainfully employed in the Army. So I get to wear no-so-camouflage to work, and take 'vacations' to places like the Mexican border, the swamps of Louisiana and Afghanistan. Haha but on the bright side, I get paid to have people force me to work out, I have pretty good insurance, and I get to help protect this awesome country.
Future- my future holds a home near a white sandy beach, full of beautiful children, laughter, my husband, and good food (I hope!!). But before then I will be enjoying a brief stay overseas, followed by a few years working wherever the army sends me.
I am so excited to learn from my past, enjoy my present and embrace my future! It's going to be a long windy road, but ready or not, here I come!

You can earn $20 for each 20 minute survey!

Guess what? This is exactly what major companies are paying me for. They need to know what their average customer needs and wants. So these companies pay $1,000,000's of dollars every month to the average person. In return, the average person, myself included, answers some questions and gives them their opinion.
