Here comes the stir-crazy

I've been in Kyrgyzstan for what I believe to be 4 days. I sleep at random hours and only go to the DFAC when I'm trying to talk to Matt, so my entire perception of days is so entirely warped that I feel a little bit like Tom Hanks in cast away! I've had breakfast about 4 times, lunch once, no dinner and two snacks since I've been here.. Haha thank goodness for vitamins, because this lack of a schedule is completely screwing with my appetite, or lack there of. So as you can tell, this post is more so my way of passing the time (and figuring out what day/time it is) than really giving you anything useful to read!
Since arriving here I started and finished book three of the current series I'm on; Stephen King's The Dark Tower - it's pretty good although as I've told Matt, a big crude and vulgar sometimes. Now I'm over halfway done with book 4 and I've developed what I fear to be a permanent crick in my neck and pain in my back! I tried to mix it up a bit by watching Netflix but had a rude awakening:
Haha I definitely didn't see that one coming! So with Netflix out of the picture I debated going to one of the "hang out spots" to watch movies but instantly rejected the idea. I'm just not big on hanging out in a crowded space with people I don't know, watching whichever movie the employees decided to play. Especially when the A/C is set to about 65° and I have to either be in my duty uniform or PTs! I'm also not willing to put up with the cold just to watch Hot Tub Time Machine - Unrated. If I wanted to see gross naked people I could go to the gym showers! But seriously, no thanks!
I think that the root cause of my stir-crazy fever is the fact that I was scheduled to leave here yesterday (or the day before that?) but got bumped from my flight. Then the next flight I was supposed to be on got cancelled.. So I keep packing up my things and getting ready to head out just to get delayed. Talk about repeated let-down!
But the wind out here is pretty strong and it's cold (there's a storm passing through) so I'm going to wrap this up and get back into my tent.
The race is on, currently death by boredom and hypothermia are in the lead with reprieve via flight bringing in the rear. I'll keep y'all posted as the race continues!
