Medical catastrophe

I think I have a blood clot in my leg. I'm not sure (and I miiight be overreacting), but I really think that there is something wrong with me that the doctors haven't figured out. I woke up this morning and there was a deep ache behind my patella, it almost feels like its in or in between my tibia and fibula. I don't know how to describe it beyond "ache" but it's constant, it feels like it extends from the very tip of my tib/fib down 3-4 inches to my mid calf and its about a 6.5-7 on the pain scale (but sometimes it feels more like an 8). I noticed the pain immediately when I woke up this morning and it hasn't gone away. By the way, it's 6:20pm here.
So I looked up symptoms of blood clots, and my leg isn't red or swollen, so it's probably not a clot. But I do have very poor circulation, so maybe it's an arterial clot and the blood just isn't getting to my leg and its slowing dying...
Haha maybe not.. But I swear something is off! It reminds me of my friends in high school that had Oshkin schlatters- but I'm not an adolescent and it's IN my leg not the front top of my tibia. I would suggest bone cancer or something obscure and terrible, but I recently had a bone scan (because of an unrelated medical mystery) which throws out that possibility.
Well until I get worse or medical science gets better, I guess I'll just take some Tylenol and stop whining ;)
If anyone has some suggestions for this hypochondriac send 'em my way. The gorier the better!

I've had that exact pain many times. Silly girl. You strained your muscles in your calf, probably from all the heavy lifting you did combined with the higher bed you have to climb into each night. Be gentle with it, and it will get better.

Hi sweetie, if indeed you have a clot, you really should see a Dr., there's something called thrombosis which could, if developed enough, call for blood thinners. After each of my 5 surgeries on my legs I took Coumadin under close supervision by my Dr., with blood tests every other day! If you do have a clot you really don't want it to break off & flow to your heart...in severe cases. Sometimes a clot won't need medical treatment but why take the chance honey!? Please go get it checked by a Dr., soon! I love you very much! Loving you always, Aunt Suzie XoXo ...
ps. If one wanted to send you a little somethin', somethin'...what address might that someone use to send you that little somethin'? Hang in there, I'll continue praying for your safe return to us soon!! ♥
