Rocket attacks and Girl Scout cookies

I'm hungry. I don't mean a little grumbly, I mean hungry! Last night I had to run a few errands during dinner time, and I planned on going to the 'boardwalk' to get dinner after I finished work. But in traditional Army luck, I found out that we're temporarily banned from going to the boardwalk, although we don't know why. So I went to bed hungry because I wasn't going to stay up until midnight to wait for the next meal at the DFAC. Of course, like every good story, it keeps going; last night everyone's sleep was interrupted for a few hours because someone decided to shoot some rockets at us. By the time I was allowed to get ready for work in the morning I didn't have time for breakfast. When lunch rolled around my friend and I were more than ready to get going and scarf some food, but literally as we were walking out the door the sirens went off (indicating another rocket attack!) I place special emphasis on the words rocket attack because the alarm system announces what kind of attack it is, and the one for rockets is in a brittish woman's voice. It's quite entertaining, the automated British woman also has the pleasure of announcing 'all clear' and I beg that you read those with a British accent, it just makes the story much more enjoyable.
Anyways, we have been stuck in our office and the only rations readily available are a box of 'thank u berry much' girl scout cookies, and reeces pieces. I have had 3 cookies and two handfuls of reeces pieces and I don't even like either of those!
On an unrelated sidenote- while I wallow in misery and hunger I would like to thank everyone for reading my ramblings, I just hit 1,000 views which surprised me as much as it surprised y'all I'm sure! I would also like to encourage you to 'subscribe' to my blog, that way you can get a friendly email reminder when I post anything new! Family- do it! Especially you dad, you have quite a knack for asking me a question that I JUST answered in my blog :)
Until next time, enjoy your meals and soft sheets!
