Halloween Y'all

Fall has finally arrived! There's just one problem-
Why is the high 94 in October?!
Seriously, today can just go away and we'll try for fall weather again tomorrow! It's too hot to enjoy my tea and warm breakfast and it makes my sinus infection even less pleasant (as if there is anything pleasant about being constantly congested and having a raw, sore throat).
I'm very ready for mid-70s and some yellow leaves! Speaking of fall, I broke out my decorations two weeks ago and feel much more festive. I'm confident that the weather will catch up with the season any day now!
In the mean time, I'll just have to keep pairing my sweaters with shorts!

I'm glad that my second and third trimesters are in the fall and winter. Not only do I love sweater season, but I would hate to be 7 months pregnant and super sweaty in the Texas heat!
With sweater season comes Halloween though and I haven't decided if I'm going to dress up when we take the kids trick or treating or not. There are some really cute baby-bump ideas but I'm not sure if my bump will be big enough.. Y'all will have to help me out with that one.
It might help to consider who I'll be trick or treating with.. I will be escorting an adorable Snow White and a rugged and handsome football player. Seriously, their costumes are so cute, I can't wait to dress them up! After the big night I'm sure I'll have dozens of photos of the kids as they get ready, trick or treat to their hearts content, gorge themselves on candy and get stomach aches. The real trick will be getting decent lighting. Matt bought me a nice camera for my birthday, now I just need to read up on it, practice and probably take a class or two so that I can get some frame-worthy photos. I'm most definitely not trying to be a professional photographer- however I would like to capture some of our great family memories to reminisce in the future and to thoroughly embarrass the kids when they're in high school!

So. Back to Halloween. If anyone has any pregnant lady costume suggestions (or advice) or couples costumes (Matt won't dress up unless I do)-- Let me know!
